Point-Of-Sale Web Application

For one of my engineering courses, I was given an assignment to write a comprehensive proposal for an engineering related project. This required me to invent a hypothetical customer, calculate a realistic budget, design a schedule, articulate requirements, and define a Verification and Validation plan.

I proposed the development of a Point-Of-Sale web application that is conneced to a database for inventory. My proposal is included below. All tables and figures are my original work, created in MS Excel and MS Visio.

I am in the progress of building and coding the application. A link to the applicaiton and Github repository will be uploaded upon completion.

Languages I will use for this project:

Front-end: HTML, CSS, Java

Back-end: Python

Database: SQL
