NX CAD Certification
My certification for the Siemens NX CAD software is in progress. I am currently completing the Xcelerator Course training videos and labs offered by Siemens to increase competency and capability to use the software. A sample of a few of the concepts I have learned in the course is shown here.

Constraining Objects
In this lab, I constrained objects and verified Degrees of Freedom to create moving parts.

Drafting
In this lab, I used the drafting application to generate part drawings.

Molded & Cast Parts
In this lab, I used the drafting tool to design parts that will be molded or cast.

Cutaways
In this lab, I used sketches to cut sections of an assembly.

Adding Details Part 1
In this lab, I added edge and face blends.

Adding Details Part 2
In this lab, I used the rib command.

Design in Context of An Assembly
In this lab, I designed a key to fit in context of the assembly.

Patterning
In this lab, I created feature and part patterns using external references.

Analysis - Comparison Reports
In this lab, I used the analysis and reporting tools to compare changes between designs.

Analysis - Assembly Clearance
In this lab, I used analysis tools to check for assembly clearance violations.

Managing Assemblies
In this lab, I implemented best practices for organizing assemblies using design groups, feature groups, and layers to increase readability and facilitate collaboration.

Robust Modeling
In this lab, I created robust models by dimensioning using user expressions, reference parameters, and conditional expressions.
