Eliya Pelton

Computer Engineering and Mathematics

I am an undergraduate Computer Engineering student pursuing a career as a programmer in the aerospace industry. I'm interested in autonomous systems, robotics, simulation software, and flight software.

I earned an A.S. in Mathematics and an A.A. in Humanities from the Santa Rosa Junior College, CA and I will graduate with my B.S. in Computer Engineering from Regent University, VA in Spring, 2025.

Outside of aerospace, I have worked and volunteered in a variety of ways from coaching fencing, teaching piano, and tutoring students in calculus & algebra, to appraising numismatic collectibles, rare coins, and precious metal bullion. When I'm not working on aerospace projects, you can find me having fun solving Rubik's cubes, studying a foreign language, or memorizing facts about geography, history, and science such as the countries, capitals, and flags of the world, elements of the periodic table, and the digits of pi.

She currently lives and works in the Bay Area, California.

But who is Eliya Pelton?

As one of the deliverables for my application to the Brooke Owens Fellowship, I created a video introducing who I am and the skills I strive to bring to everything I do from school, internships, and work, to everyday interactions I have with those around me.
